Hello, my name is Alejandra Martinez, and I have this goal of running for college. I have this dream of becoming a wildlife conservation biologist and running cross country and track for college as well. I want to achieve this goal, just like I slowly but surely achieve other goals I set for myself. The rush I get while training, racing, and improving is something I could never forget. I may not be the best, but I promise you my effort and dedication is beyond the expectations. I aspire to be, not the best, but the best I can be.. The dedication, love, and time I put into the sport is what identifies me as different. I am a very involved student athlete who hopes to continue this process throughout college. I am currently the Junior Community Service Chairman for my schools National Honor Society, in preparation of becoming our Spanish Honor Society's president, and of course the cross country captain. I set goals not only for myself, but goals to help my team. The sweat of a hard work out is one of the best feelings I've ever felt; The feeling of achieving a goal I've set for myself is even better!
