My goal and aspiration is to attend a four-year university and earn my degree in Kinesiology. After college, I would be interested in pursuing a career in either sports medicine, physical therapy, or perhaps even teach physical education.
I would make an excellent candidate for any team that would give me an opportunity to become a member of their team as one of my positive traits is I am a team player, as well an excellent teammate to provide moral support to. I also am there to help motivate my teammates when they are feeling down about themselves, whether it be on or off of the field.
In regards to what makes me stand out from other recruits, I feel I am more caring than other recruits, I am always there for my teammates. I do not always put myself first and and help push them in a positive manner. While I do acknowledge the fact I do not have the highest grades, I always put forth my best effort and do not give up. In regards to athletics, I am mutli-talented, having played sports since I was four years old. I have played soccer, baseball, softball, volleyball during my elementary school years, I started on the A-Team basketball squad in middle school, and played junior varsity basketball my freshman year in high school. I also am playing on the varsity softball team this year, but my primary focus is the track and field events of shotput and discus throws. I started participating in track and field in middle school and have enjoyed it ever since.
Overall I feel I would be a welcome addition to any collegiate level track and field team as I will always be there for my teammates, will be attentive and respectful of my coaches and their support staff, and do my very best, no matter what obstacles may be in my way. I will overcome and persevere those obstacles and succeed at both my academics and athletics.
