Hannah Moore '17 Recruiting Profile

The first time I started jumping I knew it was a talent God built me for. Once I started, I was addicted. The way you concentrate on the curve and how you keep the right speed has always been like a drug. I started jumping when I was a freshman, and I was astonished to find out how quickly I learned the craft. The same season I started, I ended up qualifying for state. The following year I trained hard in the off season. My sophomore year I qualified for state again and came home with a silver medal. I hit off season 100x harder this year with leg workouts and cardio. At the beginning of this season my goal was to clear 5’6”. I’m proud to say I have achieved my goal & I have a new one: 5’8”. I believe I am very fit to be a student-athlete at the next level. I’m responsible, hardworking, and trustworthy. I always stay focused in my college/high school work and strive for a high GPA. I will give 110% of myself to the team and my individual event. My high jump goal is to be a consistent 5’10” girl. While in college I’m considering majoring in psychology. I know I can achieve these goals. I believe that this is God’s plan for my life. Thank you so much for reviewing my page and taking time to read my statement.
