Ever since I had my first tour of a college campus, and watched a college track meet on television, I have known that I wanted to attend a college as a student athlete. I am a very dedicated Christian teenager and I love to accomplish the goals that God leads me to. I would like to expand my knowledge in a place that I can expand my religious knowledge as well. I am a very obedient student and I will accomplish any goal that I set for myself with the best of my ability. You can always count on me to put out a 110% effort in everything I do because I know that you can??t receive a blessing from God without putting out that type of effort. As for the athletic part of my life, track is my only love. The realization that all of my hard work, effort, and sacrificed time has paid off, is the greatest feeling in the world to me. It makes all of the pain and not getting to do all of the things that the normal American teenager gets to do, all worth it in the end. I think that working out and going that extra mile is the difference between being successful and a average person. Some people don??t want to spend most of their summer pulling tires and hitting the weight room. However, I would much rather stay home and work until that last ounce of energy in my body is put towards reaching my top goal. This doesn??t sound like a normal teenager, but people who meet me soon come to find that I??m not a normal teenager at all. I feel that God is leading me to spread his word in a way that is unique. I think that he wants me to show the effects of a true Christian athlete and that there are no limits when you do what you love to do with his help. I know that he is leading me to show people who grow up in small towns with low income, that you can do anything with the help of our savior Jesus Christ, leading you along the way. With him leading me, I have faith that I will attend a college and continue to do what I love. I am the 2010 1A triple jump state champion. I have participated in track and field since I was in seventh grade. My school??s girl track and field team tied for first place at our district track meet, with only five girls. I was the first girl to ever win state at our school. Going to a school with a tool shed as a weight room and a grass field as a track, I feel that winning the triple jump 1A state title, and placing fifth in state in the 400 meter dash, was a great accomplishment. My goals this year are to win state in the 100m dash, 400m dash, triple jump, and long jump. I know that this is a very high goal, but I know that through hard work and prayer, that I can accomplish this goal. I also want to be close to the college level runs and jumps at the end of this year. I am preparing to compete at the college level and win when I am a freshman in college. I am still debating on which career path I should take. I feel that going through different situations, maturing, and prayer, that I will find what direction I want to go with my career. I am very open minded to attend colleges in the southern region of the United States, but I have very strong Christian values, and I hope that the college that I attend has the same values. Thank you for your time and if there are any questions that you have or anything that I need to do to better myself in the recruiting process, please feel free to contact me at
