Running has made a major impact on my life. As an athlete I participate in this sport because I love what I have been capable of doing, for me running is a passion which challenges me everyday in practice and races.
Participating in team sports has taught me how to become a leader and has helped me to grow as a person. I like to challenge myself, train smart and train hard, I believe in my will to win and my eagerness to succeed whether it's in my individual or in my relay events. As a team member at Melissa I have developed as a competitor with a strong heart and mind training with my coaches and team mates. We compete together in relays and in our individual events as a Team, I am very thankful for the coaches and team mates that are a part of my life.
As my track career continues I hope to enroll in a college that will help me to pursue my dreams in developing further as an athlete . I am looking to earn a degree to become a sports medicine physical therapist to continue my athletic focus in the future, so I can help develop others in the way that so many have helped me.
