As an athlete, my primary goal in every competition is to improve. Even when I need to compete in my least favorite events, I will always give my 110%. I try to maintain a positive attitude and encourage my teammates. Even, when I make mistakes, I always aim to take something from my mistakes to work on in practice. I set high goals for myself and motivate myself according to my goals.Despite all the distractions that could side-track me, I'm able to focus very well in my events. I am extremely dedicated and have been interested in track my entire life, and always saw it as a big part of my future. In the classroom, I work as hard as I do on the track to insure that I can continue to run and get closer to the career of my choice.
