"Some may Dream about perfection, while others Work towards perfection".
I also have track stats under Patrice Baynes. Starting my 7th grade year at Watkins Middle School located in Houston, Tx, I began running track only as a 300m Hurdler, 800m and 4x4 runner. I then began to work on my running abilities in the summer of 2011 for Houston Synergy Track and Field and have continued ever since seeing improvement in all aspects of life.Since then I have changed teams and now running for Yes! under Coach Meka Thompson. As I became stronger and faster, I gained the 400m, 200m, 4x8, 400m and 100m Hurdles in my repertoire. I currently attend Cypress Lakes High School in Katy, TX where I have ran on Varsity since my Freshman year, and I pray I continue onto my Senior year. I have competed in many high level track meets which include, LSU Governor Games of 2012, ESPN Club Championships in Orlando, Florida of 2012, Junior Olympics 2012 in Humble and Junior Olympics 2013 in Yipsilanti,Michigan, TSU relays of 2013, Region 5A Regionals 2013, The Great Southwest Classic of 2013, Region 5A State Championships 2014, AAU (Iowa) & USA (Humble, TX) Junior Olympics 2014. I am so thankful for all of the coaches and people in my life that inspire, push, and are dedicated to make me a better person not only in track but in other aspects of life. I don't run track for the medals or the recognition, I run because its a way for me to stay focused and make better decisions that won't lead me down the wrong path of life. However, winning medals are an added bonus because it shows how hard I've worked, which pushes me to continue! Being able to run track is not a given right but an opportunity that is only given to some. My goals are to stay humble and compete at an elite status every time I run on the track. I've realized that there are many times where I am going to slip off and fail and not be able to do what I want, but that is motivation for me to practice hard and leave it all on the track no matter the consequences. I plan on running track in college while majoring in pathology which will lead me to become a Medical Examiner. I hope that I can obtain a scholarship that will enable me to do as I plan in my life after high school. As a conclusion, thanks for taking the time out of your day to observe my profile and I hope I can be an athlete on your roster.
