Malika McPheters '13 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I was seven, I've always seen myself running for a college. Now that I'm a senior in high school, my long-term dream is so close to becoming true! I'm hoping to get not only an academic scholarship but an athletic scholarship to a four year division 1 university. My ultimate goal is to get to the olympics! Even if I don't make it far with my track career I plan on getting a degree in psychology to become a pediatric psychiatrist to help little kids with their issues in life. If that doesn't work out for me, I plan on becoming a coach for track at either a high school or college. I have big hopes and dreams but I have been inspired to do whatever it takes to make myself happy. I love helping others and if I can incorporate my talents to do so, I will feel accomplished (:
