Personal Statement
I am a 5'5" Cross Country and Track athlete from Houston, TX. In track, I run the 800M and 1600M. I will graduate in 2011 and have been a varsity runner since my freshman year. As a sophomore I qualified for Regionals in the 800M with a time of 2:23.
I am looking for a school that values my academic career as much as my athletic. I am interested in pursuing a degree in nursing, animal sciences or exercise physiology. I am open to a variety of academic institutions. I am looking for a school that will help me grow as a student as well as an athlete.
