Tarah Aliceaacosta '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tarah and I am going into my senior year in high school. I am 5'1 and weigh about 115 pounds. I just started the heptathlon this summer and I also competed in the decathlon at the Great Southwest Classic, but I am interested in pursuing the heptathlon in college. Also I compete in 400m hurdles, long jump,100m hurdles, 800m run and I started triple jumping. I held the school record in long jump and the 4by4 relay in 2012. I also qualified to Texas 5a regionals in the 4by4 in 2012 and I was a regional qualifier in long jump in 2013. I am also an All American Cheerleader and competed in soccer.  I am interested in continuing my education and athletic experience at the highest level possible at a school that will allow me to progress and excel in both areas. Educationally I am interested in Kinesiology.  I have a 3.2 GPA in my core classes and I scored a 1280 on my first SAT, but I will be taking it again. I am a team player, hard worker, and determined individual. I'm not a quitter nor easily discouraged. I will not stop trying and once I get it I work harder to get even better. I feel I can (and I want to ) make a contribution to any program. I appreciate your interest and look forward to learning more about your program.
