Janelle Brown '14 Recruiting Profile

My goal for my senior year is to push it out through this Indoor/Outdoor season so one day I can commit/sign to a college and and pursue my dream of being a pathologist by my athletic ability. For as long as I can remember track has been my favorite thing to do. From competing in meets to using my last bit of energy in the day. I have a passion for track and field. it has given me a chance not only to escape into a world I have created for myself but something to be proud of. During my sophomore year I told myself I was going to pass up someone who was already on the varsity team. I had a goal and a plan to go with it. I knew with the drive and motivation I had I could do it. That same year I was moved up to the varsity team for the 100m dash and the 4 x 100meter relay. From my experience, I know that I can do whatever I put my mind to. I'm a hard worker and one day I know it will all pay off.
