My name is Jourdin Bailey and I am currently a senior at Captain John L. Chapin High School. I have completely enjoyed running track since I was 6 years old and I will do everything I can to run track in college. I just moved to El Paso, Texas from Hinesville, Georgia. My grades are great in all subjects and I hope to keep them that way.
I aspire to be on a team that can make me one of the best. Like any other rising track star I want to be remembered. I feel that I am a great candidate because I never quit, and will do something until I get where I feel I need to be, I also believe that if you can dream it, you can achieve it. I am different because I'm dedicated. After a bad jump or race, I will beat myself up for 30 seconds and then tell my self I am better than that. Then I will run my self into the ground until I go above and beyond my goals. Even when I win I still tell myself that there is still room for improvement.
