Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I’m a 5’7, 120 lbs. Junior with the ability to do a variety of events. The events I currently participate in are the 200m and 400m sprints, 800m run and the long jump. My desire is to attend a college with a distinguished track and field program.
The ultimate influence of my life is that both of my parents served in the Army. Being a military brat, I moved a lot and that influenced my social behavior and my ability to get along with others. I am always meeting new coaches whom taught me something new. When I attend college I will be able to communicate and extend my ability to train and compete better.
My interest in track and field started when I was a sixth grader at Woodbridge middle school in Virginia. All my friends were running track when I decided to do it as well. The first time I won a race I knew this was the sport for me. The feeling of winning brought out the best in me and I like to feel that over and over again.
Track and field has given me the opportunity to find myself through teamwork, dedication and training. I realize this is what I want to do to accomplish my life goals. Track and field has given me the opportunity to strengthen my behaviors and skills. My behaviors, such as, attitude, motivation, and commitment are a lot stronger. I’m also physically stronger and more confident in everyday life. Goals outside of track and field are to raise my GPA and ACT/SAT score.
Thank you again for taking the time to read and view my profile. I am a versatile, hard-working and quick learning student athlete who will fit into any track and field program. If you pick me as an athlete to your college I will strive for greatness and never give up!
