Hi Coach,
Thanks for taking a moment to learn more about me.
I started running track in third grade and have loved the sport ever since! Track has taught me how to stay focused and work towards reaching goals, which keeps me constantly pushing myself. At age ten, I joined the X-Factor Track Club. This team has had a huge impact in my development as a track athlete. Through this program I have had the opportunity to run in several national meets and train alongside many athletes that have gone on to represent D1 track programs across the nation. Throughout my track career I have always been a fierce competitor and had a strong desire to win. This desire helps me constantly drop my times and improve as an overall track athlete.
When I'm not on the track I enjoy being with friends and volunteering throughout my community. In the past couple of years I have had the opportunity to work with many amazing community service organizations in Allen, Texas. For the last 5 years I have been a member of the National Charity League. NCL is an organization that promotes mothers and daughters working together to serve their local community. Through this organization I have provided meals for less privileged families during the holidays and assembled care packages to be delivered to our troops. In addition to the National Charity League, I have also been a member of PALs (Peer Assistance and Leadership Skills) for the last 5 years. The PALs program has given me the opportunity to mentor six elementary aged students to provide them with a positive role model in their lives. This program has been such a rewarding opportunity and has given me the chance to directly impact these children’s lives.
Although track and volunteering are very important to me, keeping my grades up is also one of my top priorities. I currently have a 3.56 GPA and hope to increase that average in this upcoming school year.
But, when it comes to track, winning and always pushing myself to improve is at the top of my list! Thank you for taking the time to read my bio. If you are looking for a dedicated, disciplined and competitive athlete, I believe that I would be a great addition to your track program!
