I have been running competitively since the 7th grade. Running on a collegiate level would be an honor because I aspire to continue what I am passionate about and contribute to the success of a team. As a runner, I am persistent and competitive. My coach and I are very close, she always pushes me to do more than I believe I am capable of and I trust her advice.
School and education is important to me because I know that when my running career is over, it will continue to provide for me. I use tactics in running to motivate myself and others in the classroom and vise versa. I am a leader both on the track and in the classroom. I strive to absorb as much knowledge as I can.
I aspire to graduate in the top 8% of my class and am open to most Division 1 and Division 2 universities. I plan to major in Nutritional Science.
