My name is Jailah and ever since I was a little girl, I've wanted to be a veterinarian. I began track and field in 7th grade at Spring Station Middle School under the guidance of Coach Wayne Dunn through 7th and 8th grade. I signed up for AAU track over the summer and competed for the Wings of Skill team under Coach James Johnson through out my high school career. Once my track season for AAU has reached an end, I move into my wrestling season to keep in shape in the offseason. I've competed once in the state competition as a freshman and 2 times in the sectional competition my freshman and sophomore years. My last name has been changed to Grimes due to family matters and will change once more, but I ran under the last name Jennings my freshman year. I would like to go to a college that will help me on a collegiate level with my track and field career as well as on an academic level with my studies in the medical field to become a veterinarian.
