My name is Abby McCulla. I am 16 years old and and an upcoming senior at Hillsboro High School in Nashville, TN. The first thing you should know about me is that I am a competitor. My first track season of 2013 I ran the Women's 1600m run at the TN State Meet with a time of 5.07.99. This past spring is only my second year running track and I ran a 5.05 in the official mile converting to a 5.03 1600m. I aspire to run a sub five minute mile before I graduate and I firmly believe I can. I have a tenacity for running that I know will let me meet my goals. My determination is what makes me strong and what I believe will make me successful at a collegiate level. I hold high standards for myself as a runner and student. The most important thing to know about me is that I hate losing and will fight until I reach my goals.
