June 2014Personal Statement
One of my life goals/dreams is to compete in the Olympics and medal in both discus and shot put! My high school does not have a dedicated throwing coach so I have tried to supplement my training through a combination of camps/combines, private coaching, weight training and daily cardio workouts. I am also trying to train myself mentally by watching videos on throwing and reading books on techniques and former Olympians. The next step in my dream is to become a college thrower and I am dedicated to doing all I can to make my dreams come true.

- I won the silver medal in discus twice this past summer and a bronze medal in shot put. I qualified for AAU Jounior Olympics in discus, but was unable to attend due to school. I hope to next year!
