My name is Georgia Caudle, and I don't consider myself an ordinary athlete; however, that is up for you to decide. I, like many others, am competitive and athletic. I truly love what I do, and I continuously strive to be better.
I have an extraordinary thirst for knowledge and absolutely love to learn. If I am given advice, I listen. I like to try things in different and innovative ways. If someone is willing to give me their time and their thoughts, I make it worth it. I give results. I push myself, and I am willing to push harder. I am willing to work. I commit myself when it is required or requested, and most importantly, i enjoy the commitment.
I dedicate myself wholeheartedly to exercise and the sport. I have found myself going on long 4-5 mile runs at 12am by the simple thought of a second dropped.
Many have glanced at my PRs and looked away with disinterest. But the thing that helps me stand out from others is my attitude, and the progress I make. I first started running track and hurdles as a freshman in high school; in only 3 years, I dropped my time from 19sec to 16.68 sec in the 100mH. I know I can do better then that, I just need the time and the coaches to get me there.
Aside from track, I have many other serious hobbies. I am apart of my high school orchestra, and I not only participate, but I am ranked as thhe number one violin player, as well as concert master. The concert master Is responsible for keeping the orchestra together and guiding them through different musical pieces.
I mention this because I have taken the skill's I've learned from orchestra, and applied them as track captain. I never let a fellow athlete be forgotten or discouraged..
Delving into other topics, traveling is a monumental love of mine. I have been blessed to have been able to travel internationally 4 times as well as many places inside the US. Referencing back to my thirst for knowledge, I love observing new cultures and religion. It is absolutely fascinating.
Along side traveling, the great outdoors is my home. If I am outside hiking, swimming, camping, or simply swinging in a hammock, I am blissfully at piece. "Challenege" is my middle name, and the outdoors is filled with that.
Whether it's on the track or off, I am an individual with an open mind and a ready body.
