Tiffany Davis '10 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tiffany Davis and I am a 5'10, 140 lb, student athlete that loves to run. My passion derived from fun nights in the streets of Nashville's ghetto racing anyone that was up to the challenge. Being a poor youth, there were no funds for track clubs and trainers, but those streets trained me. I developed my complex of leadership in that way; since I love my sport I push others to their full potential, I put myself on strict diets and encourage others to do the same, I put in hours of drills, different forms of stretching, strength exercises, and heart. My biggest aspiration is to be the support and example for whatever team I am on. This is why my coach declared me captain. The will of God is what allowed me to be female athlete of the year, recieve honorable mention three years in a row and make the first all county team. A small, resilient, college in the Northeast is where I feel my heart is leading me to carry out my long desired dream of playing college sports. However, as important as sports are, to me, it is not the most important thing that drives my college decisions. I plan to major in neuroscience and double minor and Spanish and dance. My desire to achieve these things is what motivated me to try and break free of poverty. I want a college that can further cultivate my desire and plans to give back and be a beacon of hope for the kids that are just like me: Racing down the streets of the projects, chasing the dream of a better future.
