I am a hard worker. I am a passionate teammate. I am a good student and a good person. Both of my parents are non drinkers, and obviously do not believe in drugs. I am in the church choir, and a member of first priority and waiting until I do. I believe that my best running is ahead of me. I danced for twelve years and just took up serious running this year. I was a freshman varsity runner at a school which is a perenial state tournament participant.
Academically, I am in Honors English and Honors Algebra. The first semester I had six As and one B, and the B was an average of ninety-one in Latin. I obviously have not taken the ACT yet, but anticipate that I will do quite well. I would expect to be a strong student in the future. In regards to my character, I think that would be my strongest suit. I always tell the truth, even if it hurts me or is unpopular. This year I faced a difficult varsity season, as I was the only freshman on the varsity team. I held down the sixth or seventh spot through the first nine races. The last four races I finished fourth, third, third, and third. I believe my improvement can be traced to how hard I worked.
As for running I believe I am a strong runner, but not yet elite. My mother usually runs three or four races a year, and I can count the number of times on one hand that she has not won her age group. My father has not coached basketball for eight years(he is now an administrator) and everyone still calls him coach. He is now like an assistant coach. Both of them do not push me to run ,but will provide any opportunity for me if I want to get better. This is now what I want. I want to do whatever is necessary to be successful. I am highly motivated. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I appreciate your interest. Sincerely, Sara A. Martin.
