Running is my passion. Since I learned how to walk, I've been running. At the age of 6, I began arranging races within my family. Soon, I was competing in 5K road races. I find joy both in competing and in the preparation. It is my desire to dual major in both business and graphic arts.
In the past two years, I've achieved the honor of being named to two consecutive South Carolina High School All-State teams in cross country. I've set a personal goal to win the state championship in my senior year (Fall 2017).
At the collegiate level, it is my goal to participate in both track and cross country for a competitive team and help win a championship. I'm driven by the desire to succeed and score points for my team.
I've been the fastest girl on our cross country team and track distance team since I began participating in seventh grade. I'm eager to participate on a team where I am daily challenged by my teammates as I believe it will be catalytic to my ongoing development.
