Personal Statement

Thank you for taking the time to review my profile and to learn a little bit more about me as a student and athlete.  I am a well respected, caring, hard working individual that is committed to being a contributing individual, student, and athlete within my community, school, and team.  As a member of the Centennial Collegiate Track Team, Saskatoon Track & Field Club and Team Saskatchewan my commitment to success has always been driven by my belief in hard work and dedication to my grades and sport.  My goals academically have always focused on honour roll recognition while athletically I have continued to achieve regional, provincial, and national success.

  • Total years of training - 6 years with the past 3 years as part of the University of Saskatchewan Huskie Track & Field team. Training program includes both indoor and outdoor seasons and runs from September to July. Base training in each season lasts for a period of 6 weeks with competitive training beginning upon completion of the base program. Both programs include a 6 day training schedule (a 3 day weight training program included within the 6 day training schedule) that provide opportunity for training for the heptathlon events.
