Christi Dougherty '12 Recruiting Profile

           Hi, My name is Christi I am 5 feet 4 inches tall, and I weigh 117 pounds. I am a senior at Coweta High School and I run cross country and track. I am very good at what I do even if I do not wish to do it. I always strive to make myself the best I can be no matter which event it may be. I am open minded to every college and I am keeping all of my options open. I think the relationship I have with my coach and with my team is a HUGE part of this. I want to be sure when I am out doing my best on the track, my team mates and coach are going to be there to back me up, I want to trust the people I am going to be around because running is my everything! I know I can offer my team wonderful things, I have been the team captain of my team for 2 years and I am always leading the pack.
               Some accomplishments for me are attending the Meet of Champions, All-State for 3 consecutive years, State Championship as a team in 2010, i have never placed lower than 3rd place at any cross country state meet. I have always made it on the podium in track for at least 1 event. I am looking forward to go to a school in which division best fits my performance. I look forward to being a lead runner in college my freshman year, i hope to push my teammates to do their best and I expect to learn from them. I understand the college level is extremely competitive! However I am an athlete in which continues to get faster, and I will accomplish the goals I set!
