I have always wanted to compete in a successful college track program. For my upcoming season I plan on defending my two time state championships in the 300 hurdles and the 100 hurdles. I also am going to try my best to improve my times in all of my events.
I am very dedicated to track. I am always putting the extra time in to improve my technique and times. I lift weights after volleyball and basketball practice. All year round I am always working on improving my running and hurdling technique, whether it is on the track or at the gym.
I am very competitive and will do whatever I can do to win. I have very high expectations for myself and expect nothing less than my best. Part of what pushes me is knowing that there are people better than me. I love being surrounded by athletes who push me to do my very best.
I have really fast blocks, which plays a huge role in my success. My dedication and hard work also pay off. Another good quality I have is that I am very coachable and a quick learner. I will practice and practice until I get it down. Knowing how to balance school work and sports has really helped me keep my grades up. I have what it takes to be a part of your team.
