I've only been running since 9th grade but have made big improvements. I never ran in middle school but during gym class freshman year i ran the mile and every week i dropped time and was running mid-6 minute miles by the end. That got my start in running. I've made lots of improvements since my freshman year. I set 11 PR's this past track season and i hope to set even more. I've taken 6 minutes off my 5k time and i hope to go sub 20 this upcoming season. I try and not only work hard on the track but also in school. I also try and be the best teammate i can be. I cheer on and encourage everyone i can. I try and be the person everyone looks up to. I try and show good sportsmanship and kindness.
I'm also big in my faith. I've been part of a southern baptist church for 17 years. God has helped me with my running and i would love to go to a christain school. I love running and have a big passion for it and would love to continue my love in college. Running is a huge part of me and i am so excited for this season and have big goals for myself and my team. I try and be a leader but also show my faith through it. I am looking forward to my senior season and i hope to do big things :)
