I have cleared 5'5 in the High Jump multiple times as a junior. I am the 2012 State Champion (NCISAA 3A). I set the Conference meet record this year, won the Inagural all NC Classification "Meet of Champions", and placed 5th at the New Balance Outdoor Nationals (matched the winning height). I am maintaining a 3.83 GPA, with AP and honors courses. I have also scored 1330 on the SAT. Since we don't have an indoor team or season and since I work at a summer camp, I have only been able to jump during the spring track season. I am confident I could achieve much greater heights with year round coaching and a year round focus! I really want to be a part of a track team and contribute points in the High Jump while pursuing an undergraduate and master's degree in Elementary Education. I'm mostly interested in Southern Universities, but would consider schools in other geographic areas if the school has a high academic reputation and offers my desired major. This year I am competing in some winter track meets.
