I would like to break 19 minutes in a 5K. I do intend to go to college and get at least a four year degree. I am not sure what I want to do but know I need a four year degree at least to compete in the business world today. I want to maintain my current GPA and stay on the A/B Honor Roll each semester until I graduate.
I run Cross Country. I am not a great sprinter; I am better at long distance running. I love to play soccer.
During my Freshman year, 2011, I made All Conference placing 10th in the SPC conference. I was also named MVP of my team. During my 2012 Cross Country season, I developed Osgood-Schlatter's disease and had to sit out the rest of the season. I ran four races my sophomore year. During the 2013 year, I had hip issues that were resolved when I saw a chiropractor. I just needed an adjustment. I missed two races though. I made All Conference (SPC) my junior year and placed 9th in the SPC conference.
I work hard on the track and in the classroom. I like working with people and making friends. I would enjoy the "team" concept at college and the opportunity to compete on the college level. My major is undecided but I am leaning towards Psychology because I have a knack for getting through to the hard headed kids I teach in Sunday School. Getting them to listen is easy for me once I get to know the child and can see what may be going on.
