Hi! I'm Addison Rauch. Running on both track and cross country teams in college in either Divison I or Division II athletics is a big goal of mine. Coaches would want me on their team because I listen to coaches, and am competitive with my peers to the point of using them to improve my skills as well. Being part of a team that allows me to grow as an athlete and as a person is important to me.
I am a natural leader both in school and on the track. I am able to maintain a 4.0 GPA (4.3 weighted) while in sports, and I continue to improve year after year significantly. This is in part to cross training in the summer and winter (swimming, mountain biking, snowboarding, rock climbing, yoga), but also mixing in a healthy amount of running in the off-season.
Time management is a strength for me, as I have also been able to work during the summers and minimally during the school years; this has allowed me to purchase my first car on my own while in high school!
Lastly, I have logged over 200 hours of community service while in high school, volunteering for both my church and at a summer Christian camp (Camp Oroquay.)
Thanks for reading!
