As a little girl my father kept me involved in sports. At the age of 5, I started playing basketball and I started to cheer. My dad saw that I was a lot faster then the other kids so at the age of 11 I got involved in a track program. My middle school did not have a track team so I only played basketball and field hockey up to my freshman year. When I entered highschool I started to play volleyball and decided to run with the highschool track team. I always loved to sprint and I always competed against other people so I thought track was perfect for me. I want to continue running in college because I know that I am capable of getting better and faster the harder I work. Also I'm college I will have better facilities to run and practice on. My highschool has substandard facilities. We have practiced on a cinder track for 3 years and ran every meet away. I am currently u decided on my major but once I get to college I will be open to many careers to choose.
