I am proud to say that I am the captain of the track team of my school as a junior, and it can only get better from here. I plan on bringing our team far since we had to start from scratch my freshman year. Building this team with my running mates has been a wonderful experience and we have accomplished so much.
Individually, I was crowned the group state champion of 100 meter hurdles and I have received MVP for the indoor and outdoor seasons of the past two years. I was also part of the 4 by 4 team that won our class race and received a plaque for our accomplishments at the Penn Relays of 2013. I have many more goals that I would like to meet regarding my events and I am working hard to achieve them.
As far as academics goes, i am working hard in my AP and honors courses, so that I can be fully prepared for college. I plan on majoring in psychology with a minor in social working. I will go on to receive my masters and my doctorate degree. I will like to become a school psychologist, focusing on children and special education. After participating in an internship with a school psychologist at a middle school, i realized that this is where my heart is. I take AP psychology and I will be taking early childhood studies my senior year. I plan to succeed in field in my near future.
