Hi, my name is Caitlin and I might just be the student athlete you have been looking for. I didn’t know I would become a runner until middle school when I decided to join the track team. After the first practice I was hooked. I spent the next 2 years in high school as a 200m/400m runner. During my sophomore year my coach discovered that I was better suited for MDC or the middle distance crew. Unfortunately, during my very first workout with the MDC I suffered a hairline fracture in the 2nd metatarsal bone of my left foot. Just like that my sophomore track season was over. I rehabbed during the summer and decided to try cross country in the fall of my junior year. I now have one full year of cross country and track as a member of the MDC under my belt. The coaches at my high school believe that I am just scratching the surface of my potential. I'm a very competitive student athlete and plan to run for as long as I can. I am looking forward to a big senior year and then going on to compete at the collegiate level.
