Skyler Free '17 Recruiting Profile

As a high performance athlete in both cross country & track & field, I am a very dedicated runner.  I say this because I never give up and know my abilities as well as my own strengths.  I have loved seeing my personal progress every season in both of the sports.  I love the aspect of a "team" even if I am running on my own.  I really enjoy being a team leader my senior year because I want to inspire other athletes to overcome any obstacle and keep pushing.  I am a very loyal team member and a honest athlete. My mentality do always do more and push harder has gotten me to where I am this year! I have earned my spot and am very lucky to have the mind set to become the very best.  I have dreamed of running in college since the day I stepped foot on the track and can't wait to see where this year takes me.  I love to have fun and help anyone on my team if they need guidance or a simple confidence boost before their race.  I take my academics seriously because I know how important they are and the hard work will all pay off for me as a great student and a dedicated athlete!
