My name is Hannah Rohrer-Fitzhugh, and I am seventeen years old and a Senior at Capital High School. I began running my freshman year, during track season to try something new. Little did I know at the time, that running would become a passion of mine. It has always been a goal of mine to be on a College team. I am very goal oriented and my goals in all my races are to improve my time every race as well as help my team become successful by contributing in any way I can. Although our team is currently small it has taught me that running is individual as well as a team sport. Through cross country I have learned leadership, and what hard work truly is. Running has transformed me and I am willing to put in the work to be on a college team. I continue to put the work in out of track in the classroom, on the ski hill, or in cross country. I plan on pursuing a degree in education.
