Personal Statement
My name is Maria Gomez I am a 5.8 Long and Triple Jumper from Mexico where i was in the pre-regional young athletes team.
However I have recently transferred from ACS-Egham International school in England, to Notre Dame Preparatory in Pontiac Michigan. I have 7 years of club and School experience and will graduate in 2012. Only after 3 weeks of training in the US i received 4th place in Triple Jump in the Indoor State Championships. And All Catholic during my school season.
Being an expatriate has allowed me to become a well rounded student, thus i am looking for an institution that can allow me to continue to enrich my athletics and academics. I have an average GPA of 3.7 and have been in the MYP (Middle Years Programme) and am currently in the International Baccalaureate programme (IB). I understand I am late to the process and new to all Universities, I am open to universities instate and out of state that have a strong International Business course.
