Growing up in a family full of athletes, sports and academics were the main priorities. Once I started highschool, I continued playing the two sports I loved, basketball and volleyball. Near the end of my Sophomore year, I was asked to join the Girls Track & Field team, as they ended their season. I had always wanted to join but I was hesitant for many years, eventually I did. That's when I discovered my talent and love for track. As spring of Junior year came around, I joined the team again, and had an unbelievable and very memorable season. As my love for Track and Field grows, it would be an extreme honor to continue competiting, while going to school pursing my best interest. What makes me different than other recruits is my goal driven attitude and my character as a person. I am constantly pushing myself to succeed and acheive higher than previously, whether its on the track or academically. As for my character, I am an optimistic, outgoing person who has excellence in social skills in and outside of school. Giving that diamond in the rough, a little more time to perfect its self.
