I am an up-and-coming senior at Howell High School, where I have been involved in track and cross country for several seasons. Prior to running track, I played soccer and took dance lessons. But after a season of playing soccer at the high school level, I decided to try something new; thus, my track career was born.
I am primarily a mid-distance runner, my favorite race being the 800m, but I also have experience hurdling. Along with my sports, I take academics very seriously, having maintained above a 4.0 in all my years of high school. In addition to being a student-athlete, I am very involved in the music program at my school.
Although I have started the recruiting process quite late, I want to continue running in college because it is something I truly enjoy. I am looking for smaller colleges, preferably division II or III, where I can earn a degree in English and pursue a career in editing.
