I want to obtain BS and then attend Medical School to become a Pediatric Physician Assistant. After medical school, I look forward to my residency. Upon obtaining my degree, my goal is to work in a small private practice.Eventually, I would go back to school and become a doctor. Opening my own practice would be my ultimate goal.
I am hard-working and coachable. I spend time after practice and make sacrifices to improve. I use constructive criticism as motivation to improve. I believe I handle myself well in high pressure situations (i.e. state championship races). I am a team player and willing to help make my teammates better. I believe it is important for teammates to support one another in order for the team to be successful.
What makes me different from other athletes is my work ethic. I have to work hard for all of my success. I have learned and grown mentally from adversity and can handle myself well in a variety of situations. I work very hard academically to achieve my grades and understand the importance of being successful in the classroom. As a multi-sport athlete, I also understand how to balance my social, academic, family and athletic responsibilities. I believe I am well-rounded and would be an asset to my team. I am honored to serve as captain of both the basketball and track teams this year. I believe my coaches recognized the high level of character I possess, my leadership abilities, and the fact that they can depend on me to follow-thru on all the responsibilities that come along with being in a leadership role.
