I became a competitive athlete at a young age. I began figure skating at 4 years old. By age 7, I was competing individually in front of a large audience, including 3-5 judges. By 5th grade, I started running track on my parish middle school team. In 7th grade, I started running on our new cross country team. I enjoyed it so much, that my running dominated skating after my freshman year of high school. I developed a sense of focus, determination, competitiveness, and teamwork.
My academic goals are to earn A's and B's during my Senior year and continue as a scholar athlete. I have been a student athlete my whole life and I want to continue in college. I want to find a college that is a good fit, build upon my academic foundation, and earn a marketable degree for my future. I am a compassionate person and have always enjoyed working with autistic children and young adults at school.
As an athlete, I have extensive experience in competition. I know I can be an impact athlete in your program, because I know how to train hard and then come to the meet mentally and physically ready to score well for my team while supporting my teammates.
