Hi, my name is Charde Madoula-Bey and I am a senior from Ann Arbor, Michigan. I am currently enrolled at Ann Arbor Skyline High School. I first began throwing shot put in middle school, and later on picked up the discus my freshman year. In the last 5 years, I became very close with throwing, and the track and field sport in general. When I first began shot put and discus, I have always been determined to improve my marks and my technique.Throwing had allowed me to spend much of my time doing things I enjoy, especially weight lifting. Not only did throwing help me with time management, it also helped me prioritize and become more responsible. Throughout high school I have always had the goal of competing at the collegiate level. I believe that with my athletic and academic achievements, that I am a very good fit for many schools When it comes to competing at the next level, size and population of the school doesn't matter much. I just hope to compete at a school with a strong engineering program, but is also very competitive in athletics.
