Personal Statement

Hi I'm Nicole Galewski, from Pembroke, Massachusettes and I strive to compete.  I have great work ethic and I always look to better myself. I'm focused and disciplined in both academics and athletics.  In school I have been the class vice president for two years, a member of the student council, habitat for humanity and was selected to serve on the NEASC commtitee.  I am a  three sport athlete.  Currently I am the top long jumper, triple jumper, 100 and 200 meter runner at my school.  I hold a total of five school records that vary from individual events to team relays and I also hold one state record.  I have received the Patriot League All-Star award every season of track, and I have also received the Brockton Enterprise All-Scholastic for 2012.  I have also been part of the varsity roster since my freshman year for both indoor and outdoor track. I'm very outgoing and personable and love to have a great time. I enjoy life and love to enjoy it with people I care about. I'm always doing something in the off-season, so I really dont have a real off-season.  I lift weekly for both my upper body and lower body to make me a stronger athlete. Currently I'm 5'10 and 135lbs. I love to set goals and then to accomplish them, its a great feeling. I'm very indepentent and have my own mind. I make smart decisons through life and don't get caught up in the typical teenager world.   I'd rather be working out and being with my family then making poor decisions that will reflect on me as a student athlete. Everything in my life is done to the best ability, anything less isn't acceptable in my eyes. I was raised in a very easy going home, my mom was a high school soccer and track athlete she competed at very high levels. So athleticism runs in the family. I'm a very respectful and accepting person. I have competed in Divison II Championships four times and have competed in All-States twice for long jump. My ideal college is not to big but also not to small, a successful divsion school that is both academically and athletically balanced. I'm unsure of where I want to go as of now. I'm open to anything.  I think I would like to major is some sort of nutrition and athletics. My goals for college are to be both academically and athletically successful and to compete and enjoy my experience at a high level. Also to aid in my college tuition my mother would have to fill out the FAFSA. So please feel free to look at my profile and my accomplishments.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
