My name is Gianna Cacciatore and I go to Whitman-Hanson Regional High School. Running is my absolute favorite thing to do, and I cannot picture my life without track or cross country. It is my dream to continue my running career in college. I want to pour everything I have into running amazing times, and I am willing to work hard to do it. I am 5'8" and 125 lbs, and I'm still growing. I am best at mid-distance events from the mile to the four hundred. I have three years of experience running cross country in the fall and track in the winter and spring. I was an Indoor Track All-Scholastic sophomore year and a cross country All-Scholastic Junior year. In the fall of 2011 my Cross Country team came in first in Eastern Mass (division 3) and first in the state (division 1). I am not sure where I want to go to school, but I know I want to go somewhere both academically and athletically challenging. As curent class President and number one class rank, I want to attend a school where I can continue to lead. I think I want to major in the sciences, though I'm not sure about any specifics. In college I want to continue to improve and shape myself into a great athlete.
