Lauren Richard '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lauren Richard and I currently am in my senior year at Plymouth South High School in Plymouth, MA.  I currently hold a 4.41 GPA and am ranked in the top 5% of my graduating class.  I am a member of the National Honor Society and various clubs and organizations within Plymouth South.

I am four year varsity track athlete and have been a member of the freshman, JV (sophomore) and varsity soccer (junior and senior) teams.  My passion is track and field and I hope to continue my track career in college.  I am a sprinter, running the 100, 200, 300 and 400 meters, as well as 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400 relays.  I also compete in the long jump.  I have been an Atlantic Coast League (ACL) All Star in 2010 and 2011 for track and was the ACL 400m champion in 2011.  I hold the Plymouth South school records in the 200m, 300m and 4x100m.  I was 6th overall at the Eastern Massachusetts Division 1 Track and Field championships in the 200m and 11th in the long jump in 2011.  I am nearing completion of my senior indoor track season and have set school and personal bests in the 200m (43.00 - fastest time in the ACL since 2006), the long jump (15'11 3/4"),  4x200 (1.50.65) and 4x400 (4.24.07)

I believe that my highest potential has not yet been reached and feel that with proper guidance and dedication, I can reach some exceptional times in my various races.
