Sarah Knop '11 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'9", 135lb athlete. I started running track in 8th grade and have run every year since. I picked up cross country my sophomore year in high school, and that's when I started to notice my potential in both sports. I was a captain of the track team last year, my junior year and a cross country captain this year, my senior year. It's my job to keep tabs on all the equiptment and encourage everyone to perform to their highest capability. I would love to run both track and cross country in college. Experiencing the next level of competition is something I would really enjoy. I would like to stay in the New England area for college, but am open to the idea of expanding to another east coast school if it is the right fit for me. I want to persue a career in the field of Athletic Training and/or Sports Medicine. My goal is to run for a college team where I fit well into the level of competition, but I am also going to push myself to improve.
