Nikki Doherty '16 Recruiting Profile

I am interested and skilled in a diverse array of subjects, seeking medium to large selective colleges that will aid me in exploring all the world has to offer. I have begun to investigate business in advertising where I have participated in focus groups for products and a teen substance abuse campaign. Earlier this summer, I was a delegate at a national leadership conference to  explore the fields of science and technology. I believe my academic record speaks for itself and I take my track and soccer careers very seriously. I am a Captain of my 2015/2016 winter and spring track teams and have already exercised responsibilities in that capacity. My extra-curricular activities include skiing, snowmobiling, beaching, boating and surfing, which are my most enjoyable activities outside of school sports. My leadership roles include Vice President, Student Senate and National Honor Society, where I have tutored peers and aided faculty at Arlington Catholic. It is important to me to help those in need. I have volunteered at my Marshfield summer residence's town recreation program and neighborhood community center art/adventure camp and participated in important events like WinterKids, an organization in Maine that gives underprivileged children of Maine the opportunity to partake in winter sports and activities that they are not able to afford.
