Personal Statement
I am a 5'2'' sprinter/mid distance runner from Easton, Maryland and will graduate in 2014. I just completed my Junior year of high school. I've ran Outdoor Track for three years and Indoor Track for two.
I'm looking for a school that has a great Track and Field program. Track is something I would like to try in college. To me it does not matter how big the school is or where it's located. I would love to run for a school who has a great classroom and athletic programs and that is easy to balance both. The Heptathalon is something my coaches and I have started to look into, and I'd love to give it a try. I have done most of the events in it besides a few like the javelin, since it's illegal for high schools in Maryland to do that.

- Several schools from around Maryland along with schools out of state put together a field hockey team. The coaches are highly respected coaches in field hockey for our area. They had to select you to be on this team. We practice and then go to the Disney Showcase on Feb. 6-10
