Gabrielle Halaby '17 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Gabrielle Halaby (@gh2017track) and I am currently in the twelfth grade at Maryvale Preparatory School. As a middle distance captain, I run for my school's indoor and outdoor track teams. At this time, I have a cumulative grade point average of 3.78 for my high school career. Though I am not sure of what I would like to study in college, my involvement each summer in the Johns Hopkins' Center for Talented Youth program has exposed me to various challenging subject areas like food science and economics. When looking for colleges, I hope to find a school where I can run track, and where I can also be challenged academically. I would be a good asset to a collegiate team because of my ability to lead and work well with others on my team.
