I have been running track for 6 years. Before track, I played softball and soccer. I started running for Hershey's track and field when I was 10. My first year running, I went to Nationals in Hershey, PA. It was during that time when I realized track was the sport I loved. In 2012, I joined a summer track club where I have thrived both in strength and endurance. Being exposed and competing with athletes from all over the United States has prepared me for competition outside of my local area. Over the years, I've made many changes in my attitude towards winning my events. I can now take a loss and turn it into a lesson which teaches me to strive to become stronger and better. At the end of my freshman year my GPA was 3.4. Even though that's a good GPA, I was not satisfied with it, so I was determine to raise it. I currently have a 3.57 GPA. My goals are to attend an awesome university and major in Biology/PreMed, participate in track and upon graduating with my Bachelor's degree, I plan to enroll in medical school.
