Brianna Golden '11 Recruiting Profile

My name is Brianna Golden and I am currently a senior at St. Joseph's Academy Highschool for Girls. As of right now I am 5'9 and 200 lbs. I have been competing at Division 1 5A Track and Field now going on four years right now. Since my freshman year I have experienced top finishes in the LHSAA State Outdoor State Meet and my Junior year I became the Division 1 Region 2 District 5A Discuss Champion with the winning throw of 132'5 (breaking a 12 year record by 4 feet) and State runner up in Shot put with 38'1. Understand that I am a STUDENT Athlete, I put my grades first and I have worked extremely hard my senior year to manage to maintain All A's with the exception of 3 B's which is a huge difference to what I used to make. If you look at my transcripts you will see the major difference of when I apply myself and work hard as opposed to me not caring. As an athlete I do the best that I can to make it to the top. I have what it takes to compete at any collegiate level and I plan on breaking records and setting goals that can and will be met.
