Personal Statement

My name is Tiffany Hanna. I am 18 years old. I graduated from  St. Augustine's College in Nassau, Bahamas as valedictorian of the class of 2017.  I am currently a freshman at Wagner College. 

I value persistence and perseverance. I excel in both academics and athletics, and I am passionate about both. I am constantly working on improving my shot put and discus techniques. I practice technique 4-5 times a week, with weight training 2-4 times a week depending on where we are in the season. I have represented my country on various national teams, so I understand the importance of and the responsibility that accompanies representing a larger united body.

I value school spirit and the unity of the team. I realize when its time for fun and when its time for work, and I will always strive to better myself.
